Episodes #53-55:
Tim and Claire meet with their lawyer, Greg, to strategize about the upcoming hearing. He warns them that several points could cause trouble with the judge for them.
At the competition, Jason and Shannon skate very well. Shortly after, they are met by Bill and Paula, as well as Brent, Sarah, Andy, and Danielle, who have all flown in. After congratulations are given, Courtney emerges, referring to Shannon as "Lisa." The pictures of Shannon & Dave are passed around, and the vixen is forced to admit her involvement in the attack on Courtney. Paula then asks why Courtney called her rival "Lisa."
The full story comes out, courtesy of Danielle and Andy: Shannon killed her parents, the Powells, for their money shortly after returning home from boarding school. She took the maid job to tide her over until the inheritance came through and went by "Lisa Stafford" so no one would know she was doing such "demeaning" work. Unfortunately, she left behind a box of things that Katherine said would be thrown away -- instead, Danielle found them. Brent arrests Shannon on double murder charges.
Later, Jason learns that he and Shannon finished third and earned a trip to Nationals. Of course, they will not be able to go; he comments on the irony of the situation to Courtney, who has a surprise for him -- she's ready to forgive and forget his night of passion with Shannon. Why?, Jason asks. Courtney was able to force Shannon to confess that she deliberately got Jason drunk to get him into bed. They leave the rink together, truly happy for the first time in months.
The custody hearing begins. Diane is late; those assembled begin to fear she has run off. Finally she arrives, having simply been stuck in traffic. As the hearing kicks off, Diane goes into labor.
After receiving a call from Claire, Molly heads to the hospital with Travis -- and Brian. Claire is surprised to see him and, when he is out of earshot, asks what is going on between him and Molly. Claire encourages her to slowly work on building a relationship with him. Privately, Brian worries about his involvement in Diane's schemes coming out.

They squabbled and she left, going for a walk. Tim fretted, aware of his obligations to Diane and Samantha but wanting to be with only Claire.

Molly then met Brian and tentatively made amends with him.
Tim ran into Diane, who, along with little Samantha, accompanied him back to the apartment. He poured out his heart to her, thinking that Claire had left him. Diane used this opportunity to comfort him and even suggested that he just break away from Claire and have a fresh start. Tim denied her advances -- but gently, not wanting to hurt her feelings. Soon after, Claire showed up with the note she had gotten at the lodge. She pulled it out and confronted Diane, who was forced to admit all her schemes yet again! Tim and Claire booted her out, promising to see her in court for the custody showdown.

Later, at the hospital, Courtney informed Helen, Jason, and Lauren that she suspects Shannon was behind Don's "accident." They found this idea preposterous. Dr. Smith came out and told them that although Don had no serious injuries, he had slipped into a coma. When the doctor visited Don later, he acted especially odd, urging him to please wake up.

Outside, Lauren, who had come to pick up her friend, is surprised to see Dr. Smith leaving the rink.
Brent informed Steve and Andrea that Ed's statement points to Matt as the thief. Sarah blurted out that she can't believe Matt would do such a thing. Andrea took this viewpoint as well, but both men were skeptical, calling into question how little Sarah even knows Matt.
