Inevitably, some of the citizens' shenanigans have taken them out of town. Here are some of the notable instances in which the action wandered out of King's Bay ...

New York, 1999
To keep him away from Molly, Sarah talked Brent into taking a private-eye job with her. Their first case took them to upstate New York, where heiress Andrea Yang had been robbed of precious heirloom jewels. Her ex-boyfriend, Matt Gray, was suspected, but eventually Sarah helped clear Matt's name and the two grew closer. Matt returned to King's Bay with her.

Phoenix, Arizona, 1999
Figure skaters Jason and Shannon traveled to Phoenix for a competition in early 1999. After they skated, Courtney, Andy, and Danielle showed up and exposed Shannon's murderous past.

Paris, France, 1999
In an effort to bust up Don's marriage to Helen, Sally joined him on a trip he took to view the art museums of Europe. They never got out of France, though -- Don, suffering from a head injury, appeared to have stolen a painting! After the duo cleared things up, they returned to King's Bay.
